Getting the message “can not be opened because it’s from an unidentified developer” and wondering what to do? Use the following commands in Terminal to show the “Anywhere” option in System Preferences > Security & Privacy window.

You can also Right Click on the Application and click open, then choose open in the dialogue box that opens.
